- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl. Stir in melted butter until combined.
- Mix in baking soda and salt.
- Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture. Avoid over-mixing the batter to keep the bread tender. Serve warm with butter or cream cheese and pair with coffee or tea.
