Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup unsalted cashews
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 Thai chilies, chopped (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
- Incorporate the ground beef. Cook until browned.
- Stir in Thai chilies, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add cashews. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and garnish with cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges.
Notes
Best served over steamed rice or in lettuce wraps. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
