- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 ounces burrata cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Add the gnocchi to the sauce, stirring to coat.
- Top with burrata cheese. Remove from heat and let sit for a minute.
- Garnish with fresh basil. Serve immediately.
