- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
- Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; stir until combined.
- Fold in the flour gently until no dry flour remains.
- Pour the batter into a greased 4×8-inch loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use overripe bananas for the best flavor and moisture. Don’t overmix the batter; mix until just combined.
