- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir in the broccoli and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until tender.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the turkey and broccoli mixture. Mix well and heat through.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
You can substitute pasta with whole grain or gluten-free options. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
