- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Small corn or flour tortillas
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Sriracha
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- Mix cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dredge shrimp in the mixture until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry shrimp until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Mix mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice for the sauce in a small bowl.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas, topping with cabbage, avocado, and drizzle with the sauce.
Notes
Serve with lime wedges and extra Sriracha on the side. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
